Travis was very quiet and always polite. Our conversations were pretty limited outside of “Hello” and “Goodbye, have a good day.” For a while I wondered if he even liked me. When his parents came down for a few games, his mother told me he said he liked living with us and that my sense of humor reminded him of her. Wow! What a compliment.
We got the chance to get to know Alan and Susan Ishikawa over the summer and met his sister, a cousin, an aunt, two uncles and his grandparents.
